Job specification consisted of risk assessments for events and working deadlines for business sheets and events. A working relationship with delegates and other employees is key to the success of each event together with clear and concise details within synopsis. Overseeing event staff was a vital part of my employment and one from which I drew on my experience as a role within National Park.

Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park

2005-2007

During vocational periods with University, I worked for two consecutive years for The Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. This consisted of operating visitor centre including management of staff, ordering of products, working very closely as a team member, organising events to increase footfall within areas of Loch Lomond as well as assisting visitors on a day-to-day basis with extensive knowledge of the park and its surroundings. Spanish language also assisted in dealing with customers.

Skills

Strong ability to work independently but also as part of a team when required. Good communication skills are essential within my employment including efficient time management, budget management and risk assessment. I am a very organised person who thrives on challenges and deadlines, and works efficiently under pressure. During my working life I have made invaluable contacts in our working industry with positions in Press, Public Relations and Marketing. I have always worked within roles close to the public and have gained precious experience within customer service and feel I am very customer focused in every part of life. I enjoy socialising with new people and learning about new cultures and groups.
