The time of year for wedding fairs is once again upon us. If you can research your chosen suppliers before hand and really get to know their work, once you meet with them at a wedding fair, many will offer discounts off their packages. For the larger wedding fayres….go prepared! There is so much to see and do, and so much to take in at one time, you can spend hours and hours trailing these shows, but at the end not coming out any better than you did prior to starting. Firstly, try and have an idea of what you are looking for, and what you are willing to spend. Although there are discounts available, we can sometimes still go a tad overboard and runaway with plans. These are enjoyable days out with free samples of cake and champagne on hand most of the time! For the smaller wedding fairs at various wedding venues, these give you the chance to really have a one-to-one chat and get to know your supplier. Enjoy!

We have teamed up with local high schools in our area to offer fabulous prom wear for upcoming leaver’s balls. Don’t worry though, once a dress has been chosen, this cannot be ordered again for the same occasion, even in a different colour!! Hello once again and welcome to My Wedding Consultancy and My Wedding Dress Blog!

Very excited to be working closely with BlackFeatherStyling – professional window dressing including event styling, wardrobe management and visual merchandising. This will just complete my new boutique with a WOW window and to showcase the exquisite bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses. 

Also on my wedding consultancy, I am now working with a fantastic lady who handmakes the most elegant wedding invitations and favours. We are both showcasing at The Rosslea Hall Hotel wedding fair on Sunday 7th March, very exciting!
